The Story

Revenge, puzzles, and gloriously holy waterfowl.

A retired state-necromancer shelters Lumiel, a young sorcerer who vows revenge on the Holy Geese that destroyed her parents' bookshop. With a stolen book revealing their hideout, and a baron desperate to get it back, the old necromancer dons her cloak for one last adventure.

Joined by a runaway bard whose built like an ox, they set off on a journey of puzzles, mysteries, and encounters that are, frankly, the geese's fault.

High fantasy with the pacing of an adventure serial and the sense of humour of someone who has been professionally raising the dead for forty years.

The World

A kingdom where the dead have a union and the geese have lawyers.

The setting is a high-fantasy kingdom governed by the kind of baroque bureaucracy that only exists in places that have been running long enough to fossilize their absurdities into law. The Holy Geese are a recognized religious institution with a protected status making them untouchable to the commoners.

It is a world that takes itself entirely seriously, which is what makes it so funny when it falls apart by a seemingly innocent grandmother challenging the whole royal guard on a wild goose chase.

The Geese
Holy. Of enourmous size. Extremely well-represented in civil court. And as dumb as fish.
The Stolen Book
A map to the geese's stronghold, but also the only copy of a very important recipe for dark arts, apparently.

HERD THE FLOCK
The Game

Guide your subordinates to prevent holy destruction!

You are middle management in the Holy Geese order. Direct two clerics to herd the geese toward places where they won't disturb the townspeople, because the dumb geese will absolutely disturb the townspeople anyway.

While the flock wreaks its holy havoc, citizen complaints pile up on your desk. Handle each one your way: pay the complainant off, or bury them in bureaucratic forms until they give up and go home.

Free to Play
Runs right in your browser. No need to install or pay anything.
Supports up to two players
One cleric each or both for yourself. Coordinate the herd, or don't, and watch the complaints roll in.

Reward: every playthrough grants small bits of the world's lore.
